How did you get your start in radio?

Wow...good question! God just put me in the right place at the right time.  Got my start back in 1991 in Key West, Florida at a very small non commercial christian radio station ironically enough with the frequency 90.9FM.  Some friends of mine hosted a 4 hour metal show on this station...one year they decided to go to Cornerstone Festival and they asked me to fill in while they were gone because up to that time I had been hosting a 5 minute news segment on their show.  When they returned they decided to hand the show over to me.  Four months later I landed a gig at a local commercial classic rock station in Key West...6 stations later I end up at the Katt...

What is your favorite part about the job?

Duh! Its the Katt bro!

Any personal secrets you wanna share?

Heh, Heh...no not really...then again anyone who knows me already knows some secrets about me.

Tell us a crazy radio story.

Wow....can't really remember one at the moment...you'll have to get back to me on that one.

Favorite radio interview? Or worst? Tell us the dirt!

I''ve done a bunch in the last 18 yrs...but it all comes down to my interview with P.O.D.! Sonny, Noah, Tre and Marcos are the nicest guys you ever wanna meet! The interview was actually two fold.  Its was televised as well as aired on the radio at KOKF 91FM.  They played a show in Edmond with the Insyderz. The show kicked too much tail!  At this time I was married to my first wife Judy and we were pregnant with our second daughter Jael.  She actually ended up working their merch table that night during and after the show so I could spend time with them.  That interview was one of the most memorable highlights of my life....next to meeting King's X.
