Tool Opiate Re-Issue ON SALE TOMORROW!

I have patiently awaited the arrival of the latest release from Tool. However, not a collection of new Tool songs, the Opiate Re-issue looks badass. From the way it looks, you not only get a load of cool collectible items but you also receive a re-issue of the EP Opiate. However it begs the question, is it worth it? I guess, if you factor in all the aformentioned extras and an autograph from each of the members of the band. While I have read a few things about the re-packaged EP, I am not completely sure what it completely contains because I have yet to see one in person. I am also hearing that the band will release 5 “Golden Tickets” in the limited 5,000 copies (five versions to choose from). I’m not sure what these will or will not entitle the buyer. I have speculated along fellow Tool fans: What if the band gave the recipient of the “Golden Tickets” a chance to hear the new album before anyone else (How cool would that be). Tickets for life to Tool shows, free merch, etc… From one fan to another, I think this is a cool way to reach out and give the fans something to hold onto and cherish. I am not in the inner circle nor do I know anyone in the band. Just a fan and that’s it. Who knows what they are doing with this, furthering art or deepening pockets? Regardless, you can own it tomorrow, if you are so lucky. It appears the release for Oklahoman’s will be available around 7 A.M. on toolband.com.
