Saturday, April 27th numerous tornadoes impacted parts of Central, Southern, South-Central and East-Central Oklahoma. Major damage has been reported in many towns and communities along with, unfortunately, fatalities. The American Red Cross has shelters open in the impacted areas.

The National Weather service says preliminary results indicate at least 20 tornadoes touched down across far North Texas and in Oklahoma. Survey teams are out in key areas like Holdenville, Sulphur and Marietta.
